Meet Dr. Richard Kowalewski, MD, PhD, FRCPC — or “Dr. K” as his patients like to call him. With 40+ years of clinical experience, including over three decades as a world renowned cardiac anesthesiologist working out of Calgary’s Foothills Hospital, he now dedicates his expertise exclusively to aesthetic medicine in Vancouver.
Dr. K’s innovative spirit led him to develop the groundbreaking Dragon Treatment™ skin rejuvenation procedures, alongside his specializations in Laser CO₂ Fractional Resurfacing, PRP/PRF, Botox®/Dysport®, and dermal fillers.
His excellence extends beyond the clinic—he’s a published researcher, international speaker, and active member of both the Canadian Association of Aesthetic Medicine and International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine. Outside of medicine, he can be found playing bass in his blues band or sailing the gulf coast.
